Here we go again...
I sold it to a guy in Ohio.
His last name is Weaver.
His Ebay user name is/was WeaversVWsales
I sold it to him for I believe $750
He trailered it away into the great unknown, let me a f'd up feedback, and was never heard from again.
So there is the story once again, maybe a new batch of you want to go on the hunt. GodSpeed! _________________ Former Snorkelstang owning, abortion driver. |

So did you ever actually drive it? I've been around since this was VW PLANET and have never heard that story. How did I miss that??? I guess I should do more than just look at pictures. _________________ the original

I have a friend that has some pull in the DMV and every time he wants to look up plates for any car he contacts the people on the inside for some better information then just " I don`t know " So ill pass the plate info to him and see what comes up. If the guy was so unhappy with the purchase chances are he didn`t touch it.
Do you have any info, paper work or a VIN? _________________ CRG

The VA plates were registered to george Jones. (not that one) I never titled it.
The floor and drivetrain were mustang II. It's baby sister is on a Omni chassis. I do not have pics of that one, but it is just about 5 miles from home. If I get the chance, I will drive out there one weekend and get some pics of it. It isn't quite as legendary though. _________________ Former Snorkelstang owning, abortion driver. |

Ohio isn't a small state. I should know, I live in Ohio and it still takes me 4 hours to drive to Cleveland on the turnpike. Got a city by chance? I'm absolutely enthralled with this fine piece of, well, yeah, -history-, that's a good word for it...history...

I really hope the Stang wasn't cut up (granted it's far too powerful to have been) but it's become somewhat of a idol around here! I still say it should be the mascot over SambaDog... _________________ PNW Dub Folk & Kitsap dub Folk (KdF)

Screw that!!!. That "legendary" POS should be the patron saint of landfills. I, for one, could care less where that hideous POS is now rotting... (though I do hope it's in a capped, closed landfill. |

In the event the mighty Stang has been buried, look for either A.) A sinkhole or B.) A Volcano...Perhaps that's why Mt. Rainer hasn't erupted in so long... _________________ PNW Dub Folk & Kitsap dub Folk (KdF)

I actually once saw The mighty Snorkelstang flying over Mt. Rainer. Legend has it that The almighty Snorkelstang actually is the guardian of Mt. Rainer and does not allow it to blow.
