I just bought a 69 squareback and the vents on the side that provide air to the engine are removable. I have seen tons of 69 squaerbacks but none with vents like this. Can anyone give me any info on this? I know that is the way to get to the fuel injection ECU but again have never seen removable vents on a square. Thanks. _________________ 65 one owner bug

VW of America sold reversed vents because some owners thought the originals faced the wrong direction.
The best cure for the ugly screw on vents is to have them cut/welded in like the originals.
You access your fuel injection through the small door on the inside, not through the vents. _________________ http://s169.photobucket.com/albums/u236/mr_bojangles500/
