Great turn out at the Marlboro on Main St. car show; 263 registered cars, a record turn out.

It was great meeting up with Brad and his son in their '67 deluxe.

Nice pictures Stan! It was good to meet Brad and his son as well. A pretty good VW showing and perfect weather made this a good time.

I'll miss the covered bridge tour this year. Daughter Madelyn and I will be camping on Long Island, at Buses by the Duck, for the first time.

Have a good cruise.

I cannot express my appreciation of everyone who showed up for today's cruise. We had a total of 19 cars on the cruise. There is something special that goes through your heart when you look in your rearview mirror and see the long line of VW's. ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL. This is my favorite cruise and we get more and more people every year. Again, thank you to all who came.

I don’t know if anybody here is even close to Eastford, Connecticut but I’m currently working on a meet and greet at Frog Rock Rest Stop on Rt 44 for a Friday night in July but I figured I would invite you all. I went on one of your Quabin cruises last year and thought I would return the favor.

It’s an old roadside rest area that a private group reopened to the public recently. Check em out on Face book. You don’t have to have an account to get the info. https://www.facebook.com/FrogRockEastfordCt

Connecticut Volkswagen Association Meet and greet at Frog Rock Rest Stop

Friday July 18th 5:00PM to 8:00PM

Come join us for some Great Eats, Antiques and tourist information at the historical Frog Rock.

They sell things like Burgers, Hot Dogs seafood and ice cream at the food stand.

Brent,

LiMBO has a big campout at Bald Mountain campground in southern VT. July 18-20. Just in case you are wondering why myself and the van crowd might not make the cruise night. Have fun though.

Hi gang... Looks like John and I are going to have to back out of Bug A Fair. I'm a little dissappointed but we are trying to get ready to drive the buggies to a show in Hagerstown MD with our friends from Pan Air VW. You are all welcome to use the shop as a meeting point if anyone would like. Our Quabbin Picnic Cruise is on the schedule for Sunday August 17.

Thanks Deb for organizing a fun cruise! We logged 181 miles today on mostly back roads. The best way to cruise and enjoy the aircooled gems. Laughing
