Got some more work completed on the 55 this weekend.

Ricky worked out the last few wavy spots on the hood and massaged out the last few dents/dings on right front fender.

MJM also joined us......he finished welding the heater channel to front body bolt repair section and blocked out a low spot on the roof.

Ricky and Michael (aka MJM1957) Thank you so much for all your help!! My 55 would not be at the point it is today without the help from both of you!!!

I need some help coming up with the paint code for L370 Nile beige. I have the Ditzler/PPG code 21445 but when I stopped by the paint store today that number did not come back as a good code??

I've searched all the forums on thesamba as well as countless other forums out there. So, if any of you have painted your VW L370 Nile beige in the past please PM me that code.

One thing you might try, is to have your paint store call PPG directly. Just yesterday I needed L289 blue white and of course nothing on PPG's color web. So my buddy called PPG and they had and faxed him the formula. He's had to do that for me 3 or 4 times in the past and PPG always had a formula.
