Nice firing order. Is it 2-3-4-1 ? |
T3 motors are usually 180 out. (Notice the condensor on the right side) Even then its wrong. 1-4-2-3 _________________ FOOK CANCER

Well since we all dont seem to mind poking fun at ourselves...... Why not be the first Corvair powered contribution... My current work in progress "Operation X". It started as a a sleeper Beetle idea...ending up as a Volksrod.
The flat six monster just as much hangs out as it does in...

It really didnt start that way. Its turned into Volksrod... its pretty much the builders (me) interpretation of what HE or SHE wants. Ya know Cut Weld Drive...
Why bother with a decklid you ask.?... Thats the way I want it, Thats the main reason. They are supposed to be a little crude and rude.
In reality lots of reasons. I originally wanted a full closed decklid, but the chop top caused more angle and fitment issues.
Engine had 4 carbs, that were worn out, I wanted to use those, but for budget, cost and easier tuning, I went with a single 4 barrel, which of course caused more deckild problems.
I tried several different decklid variations, stand offs, a peek-a- boo slot with just the Genny hanging out, a "Genny Visor" version, but in the end that one fit the car and its raw personality. I like it... crappy air cleaner an all,,,, thats really what matters.
No alternator....its a GENERATOR.... Its offa 60's Chevy...of course. _________________ aka Ken {o\!/o}

It looks like 1-4-2-3 to me. The seller was a watercooled guy, so that would make sense.
It didn't suffer any permanent damage from his driving it that way
I pulled the heads to check if he'd melted a piston, but they were fine.
I swapped in a FI Type 3 distributor, Type 3 exhaust, and a pair of Solex PDSITs before I started using it.
It's still pushing my 71 Square a few years later. _________________ 1988 Ford Festiva L
