|

OK
This is a thread for Abortion Engines Only. No Nice Engines Allowed.
What is an Abortion Engine? Its an engine that runs but shouldn't run. Its a engine that couldn't run but somehow does. Its your home made monstrosity that mechanically defies all logic and rules laid out in the bible.
Baling Wire, Fiberglass, No Tin, Dizzys with clear caps, welcome.
I will start the thread with a picture of my own engine back in 1980.

Search "VOLKSWAGNUT" on YouTube since you cant watch "IT" here.
Better to roll em' how you want and wear em' out.... then let em' rot out.
It's more about the going --- not the showing.
Rebuilt to drive not decorate.

i dunno, not too much of an abortion, just a couple things that should have gotten attention...clear dizzy cap eventually got replaced with a bosch one, heater tubes got blocked off, but it never did have bottom cylinder tins or a thermostat...doghouse tin was wired wide open all the time...it never saw much cold weather duty, just the two mile drive to school and back...i was 16 when i took this picture, 18-ish years ago
