I dont think that fuel filter could get any closer to that coil with out just proper fu*kin. Why not just combine them and see which blows first. Gas shorts the coil or coil simply pukes from the fire.

Took ya long enough..^^
Advice though....Use a metal filter instead... as electrical current flows around the outside of the steel it helps magnetize the filter case and align the fuel particles for improved fuel mileage.
It will increase your sales potential...
