He drove it home. Check out the fuel line with both sides connected to both the fuel pump intake and the fuel pump output. It runs and drives.

Other note-worthy items are the wooden plugs in the shroud, another in the tin to the left of the pulley, and the garden hose between the air-filter and the oil fill.
Also, I'm not sure what I'm seeing below the dizzy, some sort of plate? _________________ Two Bugs-

Double lightning bolts on a German car..... Neo Nazi is the first thing that comes to my mind. Not saying that all other people will see the same comparison, but I wouldn't want ANYONE thinking I was some kind of skinhead.
But, of course, beyond the Nazi symbolism, this is just an ugly exhaust. I certainly wouldn't roll it for that reason as well. |

What is interesting is that you see that as double lightning bolts. If that picture had been taken from any other angle, it would not look that way. I did not see the lightning bolts at all until you pointed it out. The "reach" I surmised, is that most people would likely never even notice the SS design. _________________ nothing |

And all I thought of when I saw that was this thread: http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?t=460488 Maybe the Pokemon guess isn't that far off? _________________ Rust NEVER sleeps and stock never goes out of style.

If you can't afford chrome, then silver paint is a cheap alternative.
