It looks as though no one else knows any more than you do, Jordan.
I have never seen such a piece either.
But I find it disturbing that the driver is visible in the windshield but not in the door window and the front seat passenger just the opposite. That's just spooky. |

I bought one of these fairly recently., but mine is red. I don't have any information to give you but Blue Baron may know a bit more. _________________ 1957 Karmann Ghia

Its a BUS!
I guess they made a red one too. Red ones were more popular.
Wheels are hard to find. Unknown company dated in the late 50's. |

It's also very similar looking to the old Revell Microbus model. I would guess it was copied from one. |

I've never seen this one in my many years of collecting, but by the style of the blow mold plastic would guess that it was made by Irwin. Very similar to other toys by them. _________________ Do you want fries with that? |

That's a pretty safe bet. I also have the giant Irwin Karmann Ghia. |

I did a Google Images search for "Irwin toy VW" and the closest thing that came up was Jordan's pictures from the beginning of this thread. |

It can be an Irwin. These cars are very big!
Attached are pictures of the Irwin Karmann Ghia and the Irwin beetle and an Original signing from another car.
