Hello,
I am in desperate need of help.I recently just moved from marysville
To bellingham and I had broke down on the freeway and got towed to my apt.
I hate not haveing my garage and my tools but..
Something in my rear driver drum was loose and made big noises,
Lost brake pressure but was able to down shift to a stop.
My brake line still looks good to my wheel cylinder but
I just need someone with a portable compressor to bust
My small nut(36mm) nut so I can get it apart to see what's goin on.
This is my daily driver and o can fix it just don't have proper tools.
I really need help.I'm scared to have it towed from my place.
I have money,36 mm socket.and willing to help with anything in future.
I want to be more involved with the mbVv club.
It's my 60 mango bus still with small nut grb. _________________ --------------------------------

Are you a member of MBVV? If not here's a link to get signed in:
http://www.mbvv.org/
This could help you get the word out local and we've got a bunch of good people, several right in Bellingham. Maybe we can put together a rescue mission, I can maybe break loose on Sat., keep me posted, PM if you want. -Bob
p.s.---I'll post a link to this thread on MBVV and give a short description of what's up, maybe someone can help out quick..... _________________ '71 Ghia

O.K. cool, post up for sure tonight. Just a thought, a stout breaker bar with a long cheater pipe may be enough to break that nut loose, you may need a drum puller also. _________________ '71 Ghia

I think Mike from AZ just moved up there from PHX. I'll try to get some info on him. I sent a few emails and did the silly facebook thing. He'll chime in if he's around. Good Luck _________________ 74 westy

hey man, I live close to the border and Have a full set tools. pretty much anything you would need.
Im working on one of my watercooleds tomorrow but if you need to borrow anything I could always pop over the border in the late afternoon noon for a gas run and drop by if you still need a hand. _________________ -1977 westfalia

If you are still in need of help, I'm free tomorrow after noon or Friday. I have plenty of tools, a garage and a driveway to work on your brakes. I'm off Alabama in Bellingham, very centralized. _________________ 59 DD Panel
