Hi Y'all,
got a question about the installation of the spring mechanism in the sliding door lock.
Can anybody tell me where the end of the indicated part goes.
I'm talking about the metal connection rod (7) that hooks into the spring on one side. But where does the other side go? is it hatched in the middle of the door or somewhere else?
it's fun doing a rebuild project but it sure is difficult when you didn't take it apart yourself

Ok! nice pic So I see what I did wrong... I mounted the spring upwards and not crossed... maybe that's what wrong.
At least now I know how it is installed correctly!
