My wife got me a toy to keep my occupied while I recover from back surgery. I am restricted to no bending, twisting, or lifting over 10 pounds for the next 3 months. Just getting to my shop to look around will be a challenge for the next few weeks, so I needed something VW or Porsche related to keep me sane.
Angel that she is, my wife bought me a model VW engine to assemble.

The kit came with a history book/assembly instructions. In the first chapter there is this photo. I assume someone got the film upside down when the screened it and no editor caught it.

I assume you're referring to the model motor (and not vice versa motors)- there's also a porsche one

Poster must be film era (pre- digital)… an upside down film negative will produce a mirror image.

I was just making sure they didn't have a special left hand generator model for the Australian market or something. Laughing

It looks like the stripper taped the half tone into the film upside down. What I don't get is that this is an otherwise nice book. I'm surprised no editor noticed the backwards image.
