Has any one run the 14"x5.5" Fuchs on a beetle. I have a 62 beetle and came across a deal on these wheels with tires. Im interested but I have two concerns. I eventually want disc brakes in Front- Will they fit? and I wonder how much 14" front wheels will effect my speedometer speed. I like the flat look of the 14" fuchs. I forgot ro mention I have a 2" narrowed beam.

Most disc setups won't allow 14" wheels. I'm bummed because I have a set also. The speedo issue can be fixed with taller tires.

Ummm, all 911s, all 912s, and all 914s had disc brakes, and they're what the 14" Fuchs were designed for.

Go ahead and buy the wheels. They'll fit your K&L Beetle with discs, even if you put dropped spindles on.

My bad, I'm a Bus guy and most kits are 944.I've been told by vendors I need 15"wheels. I stand corrected.

Oh, and they fit stock VW Bus discs too!

All good info. Like some one said 911E, 914-6, and 912E all had disc brakes and those wheels fit on them. I kind of like the lower center of gravity, and I can correct the Speedo with tire size.

Sorry to dig up an old thread, id rather not create another fuchs thread.

Will 14" fuchs fit over super beetle disks with the CIP1 adapters? I've been reading conflicting information on different posts.

Thanks
