Don't forget that Bus Depot, the last I knew, was offering a 'Confirmed Samba Participant' discount if you PM'ed 'BusDepot' and he could confirm that you were a serious participant. Yes, we are still the only major supplier to offer a Samba discount to active contributors. PM me to confirm that you qualify and get the code. The discount is 5%, ongoing, on most orders over $50 with certain exclusions (most notably sale or speclal-order items, engines/transmissions, tires/wheels). The idea is that it largely offsets your shipping cost so your Bus Depot order is shipped free or almost-free.

We actually had a flurry of sales on the 29th ourselves, as many customers comparison shopped and discovered that our delivered price at 5% off was still lower than GoWesty's at 15% off, since our everyday prices are typically lower to begin with. What's more we don't collect sales tax except to Pennsylvania residents. (Disclaimer: In some states residents are supposed to voluntarily pay tax on their internet purchases. Check local laws.)

I should add that for those who are planning a big-ticket order, the discount goes up to 10% on a purchase of $1200 or more ... also ongoing.

Bus Depot does usually have the best prices. Be prepared to wait though, as a lot of items are not stocked. My complaint is not the stocking, but that the web site does not indicate stock status.

As was the case for me with exhaust parts - shipping from Cali nixed the deal (I'm on the East coat). I noted my observation on the LiMBO Facebook page.
Now I just have to figure out all that I need for this job first.

Wish I was aware of these discounts when I bought the couple grand worth of stuff over the past year. The few things I got are not available at BD.

PM sent.
