i was wondering how the pop out latch secures to the body? Three screws I know, but there appears to be no catch plate in the body..(only the three slots). Do I need parker screws?
any help appreciated

My Bus has a thread plate in the body for the 3 screws

no thread plate in mine on both sides and there is no visual damage (not in that area Smile
I have a juni 52 bus..

Hi,

If the bus was originally from Portugal then it is likely that the windows were put in by the dealers there rather than by VW AG, so there might not be factory screw holes there. Do you have any photos you can share to show us? Cool

here is mine. the three small holes were used to secure a newer Colombian black plastic pop out latch....
