I take [Fant] as Speach or Language

from the definition of INFANT (english)

Quote:
Origin of INFANT
Middle English enfaunt, from Anglo-French enfant, from Latin infant-, infans, from infant-, infans, adjective, incapable of speech, young, from in- + fant-, fans, present participle of fari to speak — more at ban
First Known Use: 14th century

So maybe it's Digital Language Idea Question

Interesting question, I was curious too.

I asked my German colleague to look it up for me and it turns out to be a name coined from the German words Digitaler and Elefant. Those crazy Bosch engineers......

Except... Digifant is not Bosch. Digifant is Volkswagen's in-house variant of the Bosch L-Jetronic fuel management system. So, it's those crazy VW engineers at it again. Wink Laughing
