Do you have the seal? I have the trim and clips but no seal that fits.
Just curious...I´m not interested in selling the trim at the moment. But were did you find the seal?

I'm also looking for the clips. Old are rusted away. My old seal and trim are ok, but no clips to fix.

One possibility is to make the clips according old part if find suitable material.

I don't want to bum anyone out, but have you ever tried using 40+ year old rubber? It won't sustain the cord-pulling. Very bad idea. Get new rubber somehow. Someone will offer it soon--rubber profiles are becoming quite common. Ahem.... Tony? Francisco? Ricardo? (I need one, too!) Razz

I have a trim and set of clips.

If you want them you can email me at [email protected], and I will send you photos. They were removed from my old 51 Deluxe.

The late '51 and up to Oct.1 '52, the chrome strip is smaller in width. The oval went to a slightly wider strip, I believe. They probably adjusted the slot width to accommodate the new strip. I'm not sure about the Kabrios.
