Good news. I have booked a restaurant for the Saturday night dinner, right near the fairgrounds. I have made a reservation for 20 people. I'll need to know how many want to go to finalize this. Thanks! Tom _________________ Manxter #16, 1962 Manx & Kick-Out SS #16 (WIP)

Friday night is the block party in the middle of town sponsored by Carlisle Events and for show field cars only... keep that in mind as well! _________________ www.nationalsterling.org

Tom - if you need to do the BBQ on Saturday night, we can drop the restaurant. Tom _________________ Manxter #16, 1962 Manx & Kick-Out SS #16 (WIP)

How's the dinner work? Is it only open to Manx Club members?
What time will dinner be, roughly? We're planning on heading out Saturday night, with a ~5hr ride home. I'd like to come with 2 friends if it's early enough.
Thanks,
Scott |

This year because of the co-sponsorship with Deserter Owners Group and the real Manx Club event on OBX, the dinner is open to any buggy people. I was planning on 7:00 to give folks time to get it together after the cruise on Saturday afternoon. Tom _________________ Manxter #16, 1962 Manx & Kick-Out SS #16 (WIP)

Hi all, Due to a scheduling conflict the Tj Kustoms BBQ will not be held on Friday. Tom I. has graciously offered to switch days with us. Saturday is the new day for the Tj Kustoms BBQ. All are welcome.
Thank you again Tom I. _________________ Google this.

Because of the Carlilse Events block party Friday night, which is why TJ Tom wants to move the BBQ to Sat. night, we will skip the dinner this year. Thanks TJ Tom for being so generous! Tom _________________ Manxter #16, 1962 Manx & Kick-Out SS #16 (WIP)

The wife and I are planning to attend the cruise and BBQ along with some other buggy and deserter owners from Central New York. This will be my first distance trip to a car show. We look forward to meeting all the other buggy owners.
Not sure yet if we are driving or towing the buggy.
We have camping passes. Any suggestions on how we can get camping near the other buggy owners? How does it work if your towing your car without a trailer? Do you have to pay for additional parking for your tow vehicle? _________________ http://CNYBuggy.org - Central New York Dune Buggy Club

There are separate registrations and stickers for the car & tow vehicle. Tom _________________ Manxter #16, 1962 Manx & Kick-Out SS #16 (WIP)

Fingers crossed - long range forecast for the area is looking good. Rain up until Thursday morning, then clear, cool and sunny through the weekend - a perfect show! _________________ www.nationalsterling.org

If I'm camping (which I am), it's guaranteed to rain at least once! I can't remember the last time I was able to just put the tent away dry when we got home.
