| What is the policies on putting the VW logo on the front emblem when doing a new product that you will be selling at VW shows, on Samba, Craigslist, Ebay, etc>??? I don't want copyright infringements so I am wondering if I should change it up to be similar but not exact? |

You can't, is the short answer...
Use a logo, modified version of the vw symbol, etc.

Member Response: Years ago vw would go after anyone that used their logo without permission. You can get permission to use their logo, but it takes a little work and they don't always say yes. They have a website for getting permission.

My response: Thanks I just emailed them to contact me for a proposed idea. Keep your fingers crossed they say yes or better yet support & help fund the big idea that no one has done... |

Can anyone tell me why they object to the logo? It's part and parcel of the vehicle. They don't object to the vehicle, do they?

The object to their logo going on things that don't represent the quality or ideals of VW in general.
