I've had these for years and have never seen another set. I have a total of 5 and they're still in the red primer. I mounted these years ago and they still had the decals on them indicating they were N.O.S. but I didn't really think anything of it at the time. Any info. on these?

Here is the only other wheel I've seen, Everett B. posted this pic back in 2003.

it's obviously a brazlian wheel made in the late 60's to early 70's The other style of fumagalli's I own are all dated from 68-71 so I assuming that these were made also in the same era. Not anywhere as desireable as the more sought after style of fumigalli's that Me and Chadd are hoarding Laughing

These were dated 1967. I was just curious if anyone knew anything, I've never seen another set.

the Fumagalli today lost its appeal in Brazil ... these wheels were a myth .... very rare and now the car has no replicas

Are these the ones you mean?
http://www.thesamba.com/vw/classifieds/detail.php?id=1247699

Even the original early one's are available everywhere from Brazil for a reasonable price Wink I heard the new reproductions are from the same tooling so what's the point of paying a premium for the old ones?

I also noticed on my 2 original Fumi's that the pressing on the other original is not as pronounced as my other one. I do agree with the very minor differences you highlighted though. But looking at them even side by side one would be hard pressed to notice them.

Not really. Here is an example of a set of original Fumagalli with 4,5" width dated of sep/67. Its really hard to find but it had existed.
