Has anyone used the billet trim from Australia? It looks like a decent option for replacing the early cast trim. Thought I'd ask before I order.

I have not used it but it does look nice. On my 1960 I ordered the trim set from CIP. At the time it was about $30. It is now $42. It was OK but not great so I ended up getting my originals rechromed. I was really pleased with them. Price wise, it cost close to what the Australian set with shipping would be.

I bought the ww set. It can't be polished for minor defects without taking off the coating that is on it. The clips are also too big for the dash holes.

With shipping the aluminum trim is right at 100 - without the wait of the chrome shop. If you are missing any original pieces this really seems the best option. I was hoping someone else could vouch for the quality.
