I have a cylinder head I cant identify the casting # is 111103371
now the first three could be a 7 or an 8 or if anyone knows of a website

Should be a mid-60's single port, type 1. The numbers would be 111 103 371.

On my '65 I have the expected 113-101-373 stamped on both heads, but the LH also has vw 23 stamped below that number, whilst the RH has vw 7 stamped below it.

Do we know what the 23 and 7 mean?

Stock. But now converted to 12V (as a temporary measure before eventually reverting back to 6V after intended full restoration)

I think it may be the mold number
