I have a towbar and tow vehicle if it comes down to it. Let me know, and we can go pick it up.

Hopefully they are buying you a rust-free dent-free replacement door. And hopefully he knows about the year to year door differences.

The thing that sucks most about it is that theres so few shops around here who really know what they are doing when it comes to old veedubs and they're one of them. Its just shady that he never said anything to you about the door or why the motor is taking forever. Its up too you, you want to grab the car and parts and bring it home let me know ill give you a hand as well.

First of all sorry for my Bad English.

to make it short, 2 years is enough to invent and build a new car!!!.

we have a saying in Arabic Language: "if you did not witness YOUR sheep giving birth...and gave it to someone to do so...when you will come back they will give you DOG ..and they will say this is it" !!

i NEVER left my car at shop repair, sometimes i spent FULL day setting and watching what they are doing, they DON"T know if i know or not what they are doing, but my existence there gives them REASON to work.

your car there, and some one came to there shop and decided to do as i do, sure they will leave your car and started doing HIS car!

i don't know about your time schedule or how busy/free you are.
if you can't stay a day long there, try at least staying one Hour!
if you even can't, (and you DON"T want to take your car to other shop, which if i was in your place sure i was going to do it from long time), say that you will MINUS 200 dollars from EACH single day they will delay from the appoitment YOU decide that they should give you your car back !! and make them SGINE papers, law papers on that !

this is my advice, and if you really can't be at there shop, ask some freind to do this favor for you ! to stand on their heads! and even prevent them from drinking tea while working ! they take money for what !?

I wouldn't trust any shop that took that long to work on your car and I certainly wouldn't trust a shop that caused damage to your car and not even tell you about it! They sound like a bunch of lazy and reckless jerks.

not trying to bash...but they've had your car two year, have lied over and over to you, damaged your car and not told you...and it's still there?

You are getting screwed and that is a huge dent.

They obviously don't care and you are going to be unsatisfied in the end.

Pull your car and get all of your money back and go somewhere else.

You obviously cannot trust this shop by the way they have lied to you about work that was not done and damage to your car.

The picture is now crystal clear. When (not if) this happens to the next person, you're as much at fault as the shop owner.
