Hey Samba, I am looking to drive on a road trip this summer from Idaho to Oregon. 7.5 hours 450 miles each way. I have an 88 Fox and an 84 Rabbit. Both are currently in town daily drivers. I'm looking for solutions to make it there safely, I have no mechanical knowledge and don't want to be stuck on the side of the road in the middle of the trip. What would be the better choice? I plan on having the more capable car tuned up/gone through before the trip to help my chances.
