Hey everyone, I am trying to locate a good quality turn signal switch for my 73 super. I know that SWF is an OEM part but I cannot seem to find any. I looked in the SAMBA Classifieds with no luck. I dont want to settle for China Junk but options may be slim too. Is MEYLE decent? Thanks in advance. |

Just a general comment - I work on earlier bugs, but have installed the "economy" turn signal switches as well as the "good ones." It's always worth spending the extra money for the better one. _________________ D-Dubya Manx clone - 63 Short pan,1914.

about "Meyle Products" or "Meyle Germany" - from them, it's kind of a crapshoot anymore. Despite the name of the company, they source parts from all over the world. Often times you won't find out where from until you get the part and find a sticker on the box like this:

Yeah, Don't make the mistake like i did and buy a cheap one from CIP1, it is very stiff and when you turn the wheel it will cancel the switch but does not cancel it all the way, you have to help it a little to turn off. Nothing like O.E. beware of the worn horn contacts though. |
