I have been having a hard time deciding on whos pans to buy, looking at wolfsburgwests and airheadparts, and also chucks convertible. Does anyone have any insight on these pans from these companies, or is there a better supplier?

I used pans from Airheads for mine. It was my first time and they fit perfect. Every bolt hole and edge was a perfect fit. Make many measurements from lots of angles.

ask the vendors. john at aircooled.net has emailed me back on a Sunday night before and his staff is knowledgeable and helpful.

i'm sure all the rest would be able to tell what gauge steel their pans are made from and if they don't respond, then you don't want to do business with them anyway!

I got the from M&T Mfg. Danish Klokkerholm Pan at http://www.mtmfg.com/vw/149/Volkswagen-Beetle-Floor-Pans-Floor-Pan-Parts They say they are thicker, but don't list a thickness. They are pretty heavy though.
