I have been sending parts to Canada as Antique Auto Parts and that has lessened the duties tremendously but I now have 2012 UPS worldship and it is asking for a tariff code number. Before I can UPS, does anyone know this? _________________ Airkewld Customer Service

you need to set up a field in your product database for the tariff code and then look up each code for the particular product. once this data is input to your database then it's just a matter of exporting it to whatever shipping software you're using. but there is no shortcut to looking up the codes as far as i know. it's tedious. on our database we probably have about 10% of the products populated with the correct codes. if you ship postal like we do mostly it's not an issue but with fedex or UPS they want the codes. _________________ scott lyons

I think what everyone is missing is: what Canadian in their right mind has anything shipped via the brown devil from the USA to Canada?
It's a rediculous amount of "processing fees" or whatever they decide to call it.
If the vendors don't ship USPS, I buy elsewhere. _________________ http://www.thesamba.com/vw/archives/manuals/jim_martin_engine_build.php

| I bought a beam from bus boys years ago and ups charged me a ridiculous fee (170) just to bring it across the border - usps charges me nothing to do the same |
