I have been sending parts to Canada as Antique Auto Parts and that has lessened the duties tremendously but I now have 2012 UPS worldship and it is asking for a tariff code number. Before I can UPS, does anyone know this?

You can search in the UPS software for the tarrif code. You can also check this link for the code. The first link is to auto parts, the second is to the complete list.

http://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/trade-commerce/tariff-tarif/2011/01-99/ch87-t2011-eng.pdf
http://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/trade-commerce/tariff-tarif/2011/01-99/tblmod-eng.html

Example:
8708.21.00 00 - -Safety seat belts
8708.29.20 - - -Door assemblies
8708.40 -Gear boxes and parts thereof

If you need help, let me know. I export with my company all the time(not auto parts) with UPS software. Once you get used to it, it isn't difficult.

you need to set up a field in your product database for the tariff code and then look up each code for the particular product. once this data is input to your database then it's just a matter of exporting it to whatever shipping software you're using. but there is no shortcut to looking up the codes as far as i know. it's tedious. on our database we probably have about 10% of the products populated with the correct codes. if you ship postal like we do mostly it's not an issue but with fedex or UPS they want the codes.

I think what everyone is missing is: what Canadian in their right mind has anything shipped via the brown devil from the USA to Canada?

It's a rediculous amount of "processing fees" or whatever they decide to call it.

If the vendors don't ship USPS, I buy elsewhere.

I bought a beam from bus boys years ago and ups charged me a ridiculous fee (170) just to bring it across the border - usps charges me nothing to do the same
