Is this a '67? Or a baywindow hatch? I know it's not a 64-66 because of the hatch hole.

I think it's bay window, because of the holes and indents on the inside beside the window opening. Those are for the wiring to the heated rear glass defroster.

Ide have to agree with bay window just from the look of the indents on the inside of the hatch.

Thanks. The last time I owned a baywindow was 8 years ago, I don't know much about them and my current Bus is a small hatch.

Late '67 has the indent but no holes. I don't remember seeing those two little ear-flaps down the middle support to prevent flexing when slamming the hatch on '67 down. That thing looks like it was in an engine fire.

No engine fire. Its NOS but was stored in a bus in a, junkyard in Mississippi so its surface rusted. The paper wrap at, the top is VW and says International Auto Sales New Orleans.
