Without going nuts on my first post I have an old 100 in Chenoweth (sorry if spelling is wrong lol.)

I first built it back in 1984. I know older than some of the members here lol.

And well I am thinking if resurrecting the ole Green Hornet. (Cops Gave it that name lol.)

It is painted Imron Jade Green metallic. Every nut and screw is Stainless along and aluminum JT Front end and 15X12 Centerlines on the rear with 15x7 Chassis Engineering Wheels on the Front with 295x50x15 Euro TA's on the Rear with 205x50x15 euro TA's on the Front. The little engine is a 2180 CC with 48 IDF Webbers with some work to the heads lol. And an FK-89 Cam and Auto Craft Rocker Arms along with a Berg 4QT deep sump. S&S Race Stinger Exhaust. 1 5/8.

And since I mentioned the Berg 4QT Deep Sump I will have to mention Ole Gene Berg knew his stuff. There were some things we did not agree on but overall I really feel everything he did was to help people build a VW that would live. He Was a Feisty Fellow but missed.

Sorry just off the top of my head I can not remember everything that was done to the swing axle trans to help it live.

What I am looking to do for the rebuild is to make it more duel purpose than just an Asphalt Ripper. Getting slower I guess lol.

Yes Yes I can Tell I need to put up picks. I will do so as soon as I can liberate it from hibernation in the Garage lol.

I think one of my first questions will be where in the world to purchase parts from now lol. First order is Rebuild kits for the Weber 48 IDF's?

I like CB Performance,
http://www.cbperformance.com/default.asp
They have decent prices, they sell quality parts, and they have always taken care of me.
There is also Aircooled net,
http://www.aircooled.net/
John is a frequent Samba member and he carries quality parts.
These two places are top on my list.
