Whew!! I've finally completed the upgrades to my '90 Syncro Westy I purchased from a Samba member back in February and wanted to post some details and pics, but first off, a HUGE thanks to Karl Mullendore at Westy Ventures for the TruckFridge and tons of helpful information and advice while replicating one of his installations. Thanks also to Mike and Samantha at GoWesty and Peter and the gang at Van Cafe in Santa Cruz for all the parts and the de-coupler & SA Grill install. ...and a huge shout out to Lou and Martin at Dieter's German Car in Menlo Park for the engine install and all the other mechanical work that I was unable to complete on my own with the limited items contained in my toolbox.

Looks great man. Mine is getting Line-X'd this week, and I used your pics to let them know what I wanted. Do you like the seat covers? Did you order them from the Wet-Okole site? Thinking of getting a set as well. _________________ 1987 Syncro Westy "June" |

Beautiful van, I can understand the feeling, I've been slowly restoring my Syncro too for the last 3+ years (although I've been using it a lot also during that period!).
Could you please indicate where did you obtain the Steyr-Puch decals ? I'd love to add a couple to my Syncro. _________________ 87 Syncro Westy EJ25 |

What seat covers did you order? I could not find a listing for Vanagon. Thanks! They look great. _________________ Two fully locked 80 Series LandCruisers. 2013 Subaru Impreza boxer. 1990 Audi 90 Quattro 20V |
