My first post, joined from downunder live out in the Tasman Sea a small island around 700klms NE of Sydney, Lord Howe Island.
I don't have a VW due to funds being directed to other priorities at present have been a VW fan for sometime and collecting
stuff for an age.

Have owned two Split Kombis a Bay Kombi and a Baja in the past. Been customizing push bikes for some time so here is my
over the top VW pushbike, have gone for the sort of over accessorised look!

Yeah I know non VW but just some fun, it is aircooled and engine, the rider, in the rear!

Started with a cheapy cruiser frame only mod laid the seat post back.

A bit if detail, fake tank a bit of ply wood with VW cut into it, the light is a modified garden light with a torch in it so it does work,
mounted on an old 36hp intake manifold cut up and inverted. A Wolfsburg bonnet badge and he flying VW emblem is one of my
real treasures. I sure many on here know some 60's Aussie Bugs had these a an accessory bonnet emblem, fairly rare these days,
works well on a bike I think! Fenders, cut up 60's front bumper.

Now added a stowage area, with 60's tail light, bonnet script and tappet covers off the old 36er sprayed flat to keep the patina.
Motor cycle plate thinking of re-painting it to VWRide!

Bit of VW script on the chain guard and the red trim too much black, flash trim! Standard cruiser in the back ground.

I was looking at pictures of that island. Did one of your Kombi's look like this?

I'm very envious, for both the Kombis and the island. I like the cruiser too.
