I was changing my fuel filter under the tank when I got home last night. The hose broke or came off that goes to the hard line in the tunnel. Whats the best way to get the hose back on?

The easiest way if to pull the tank. Of coourse, that's not an easy task either considering the vent line routing, fuel door, etc. I ran into this a year or so ago when I replaced all fuel hoses on my '73 SB.

5mm ID hose, strip off the old one from the hard line and install. Am I missing something? There is nothing wrong with having the filter under the tank.

I am at work now. When the hose broke it was getting kinda dark outside. I don't remember seeing the hard line sticking out of the frame, but I did see about a 1/2 inch hole. Is the line in there?

I got it back on. The hole I saw was not where the hose went. The hose came off the line sticking out.

Get a clamp on that hose so it don't pop off while your drivin'!!

while your there, replace all the hoses unless you know they are new.

Clamps too!
