Ok so im new to VW's but I've been working in theatres as a Tech for the past 4 years. Sound systems make sense to me. Rear shelf area is sound deadened and all work was done by me.

Enjoy!

I am wondering how the radio will get enough air flow to stay cool.

Looks sharp. Hope it's loud enough to drown out the typing pool in back. Wink

There is no bottom or in this case "back" to the ammo can, as to not overheat the stereo.

Its incredibly loud in that it can out drive the sound comming from the Stinger exhaust on the freeway.

It seems I have no regard for my hearing.

STEP 2:switch to a more conventional exhaust and add more sound deadening to improve the sound stage.

thanks!

Hey thanks for the inspiration, i have done the same for my '71 T2. A really neat solution as i wanted to keep the original radio in the dash
