I bought a set of SS bumpers and I cannot find the way to fasten the corners on the rear bumper. I think I need some kind of support. Can anybody help. How does it look like?

post pix! i was thinking about getting a set myself. technically, the splash pans 'supported' the bumper, but not by much. if the new bumpers don't have the hole in the corner/sides you will need to drill them out, which really should be a carriage bolt.

about those pictures Very Happy

here's a picture of the side of my bus. notice the bumper and the carriage bolt hole, along with the hole in the corner panel of the bus.

my bumper does have the splash pans attached. Skills, remember at litchfield when I bought it, the guy tried telling me it was a split window rear bumper?

He said it was for a split, then you told him it wasn't. I offered him $20 and it was mine. Then you said, "thats a $20 bumper all day long... Rolling Eyes " You basically put him in his place! hahaha!

VR, there is a diagram and info in the service manual if you have one.
Body and Frame, 3.3 Removing and installing Rear Bumper '68-'72.
And we want good pictures of both of those bumpers. Wink

Skills, you can find the info in your Brown smelly book. Wink
