LOL, I hope the engine case (at least) comes with it at that price.

Wow, the price of parts cars has shot up: http://www.thesamba.com/vw/classifieds/detail.php?id=1431431

Would anyone seriously pay that much for this thing? How would you ever get it straight? And then the price of replacing all the missing bits, you may as well buy a done car.

Both Everett Confused I've heard of NOS ones selling for $1K. They're for the Concourse crowd. Someone more versed in wipers will hopefully come along here and post but the pickle fork wipers were only on for a certain amount of time and then there was a Porsche service bulletin about the dealers needing to replace them when cars came in for service because they broke easily, so NOS ones don't come along everyday. However... I think I heard someone is working on re-popping them to bring the price back into reality. Maybe some will appear at the Lit Meet this Saturday.

PS - Thanks for The Samba sticker at OCTO last weekend.

Ok, let's see... no gaskets, no inserts, no hardware, need to be stripped and polished and re-anodized, split ends, and bent/wavy, only $200. Or a pair of brand new, complete, ready to install for under $120. Hmmm, I can't decide. Confused

http://www.thesamba.com/vw/classifieds/detail.php?id=1449264

Seriously, I could pay off my GF's car if these are worth anywhere that $ Rolling Eyes

Aw, come on. Another VW guy thinks he hit the lottery when selling a 356 part. 'Course they're NOT 356 at all, and even if they were, $200 is more than double the cost of brand new parts without shrunk/missing rubber. "Pride" doesn't add value. Sheesh Rolling Eyes
