First post from a newby. This is a great site with tons of info but I have a question for those who know. My wife and I purchased a 72 SB and the first project is to get the gas heater working, the blower runs and blows but no heat, its not getting fuel,I suspect the hose is plugged or the pump is pooched, need advice on locating fixing or replaceing it. thanks

You will need to post photos of the gas heater and the pump before we can offer any real useful advice. There are two main types of fuel pump used in the flat-window supers, but after 40 years who knows what's been installed/swapped/jimmy-rigged.

New pumps are not available, so trying to resurrect yours and/or buying a used working pump are likely to be your solutions. One should never try and start an "unknown" heater before replacing the filter and fuel lines as a basic first step.

Anyways, post some photos and I can point you in the right direction for trying to get it fired up.
