I'm getting ready to put my 72 Karmann Ghia convert body, without the pan, on a rotisserie. I have bracing welded to the body to keep it ridgid and well supported.

Are the front and rear bumper bracket mounting points (on the unibody "frame") a good place to attach the rotisserie mounts? If not what do you recommend?

I've always used the bumper mounting points. Others prefer the rear body mount (shock tower area) and use the "napolean hat" area for the front mounting point

Is this a Midwest vehicle with rust & rot? Current pictures would be helpful in order to elicit the best advice.
