Check out who is rising to stardom!!! This is the new HOT VW's internet magazine and look who got the cover shot for the very first issue!!!??? That's right Cuñado Earl. There has never been a Patina'd ride nor the non "traditional" show car in this magazine. This is history in the making.
Now 2 huge icons to have submerged from the tiny town of Lemoore, California: Steve Perry - lead singer of the rock band "JOURNEY". And now, Cuñado Earl.
I say Earl runs for President .............. move over Comrade, cuz this kid is going to give you a run for your Stardom!!

Seriously mate. This is a first. Only the “traditional” show cars make their way into this magazine. While at the OCTO command post during the ClassicS, Shin Wantanabe shows us the cover shot. My dad, Chuck D, could not believe it. He was in dismay. He thought we were pulling a fast one over him. Taking the piss!
Cuñado Earl just made history, and he made the cover too! Not bad for his first bbq.
Shin says this is something new the magazine is doing. This is a very cool. I’m sure with time, this will get even better ……….. cuz you know Shin is ALWAYS making pictures. |

I need to organize a trip across the pond, but with Cuñado! Though we need to bring a grill and find the local Costco. Those of you who know his world famous pineapple chicken, know first hand of Earl's grilling skills.
I started collecting aluminum cans as of this past weekend. I say by HO 2017, I can have him there! |

WOW!! I'm totally honored and humbled by this. I really think there are more buses out there more deserving of this tittle than mines. I want to thank Shin for taking the picture in the first place. Also Hot Vw's for the privilege.
But Johnny you know me well enough to know that I don't believe I made the cover alone, but rather me and all my Cuñado's made the cover. This something all Cuñado's all over the world should celebrate in.
I'm sorry I missed the classic a good friend of mine took a turn for the worst last Friday and I've been by his side ever since with a few moments here and there to break away. But good news he seems to be on the up swing. 
I'm still getting the hang of this BBQ thing, but at the next one well have a beer in celebration, And some of Cy's special chicken. Think we wont?
Also for all my Cuñado's that have been hitting me up threw all the various media's Thank you I will get back to you soon as my friend gets better.

Cuñado .......... you should run for President! We can have back yard boogie's at the White House. I'm sure this will get more and more popular, due to the exposure of the other rides, rather then the "traditional" show cars.
