I have a FK-41 cam but no card. I don't know the intake close to plug into the calculators

1600 cc
54 cc chambers
1.4 rockers
1 3/8" extractor
Dual 40 Dellortos w/28mm vents

Only running it up 4000-4200 rpm.
Ready to use premium fuel.

Thanks,
Andrew

8.0-8.2 and there is absolutly no need to run premium. 87 gas is all you need with that cam.

Image may have been reduced in size. Click image to view fullscreen.

8:1 will give you about 6.5:1 dynamic, as Dave said, just fine for 87 octane.

I would see what the cr is at about .035 piston to head clearance.

That would be 7.7:1 (6.3:1 dynamic) with his 54cc chambers. Although I would never recommend any street engine be run with that little deck height. Just my opinion.

Great guys, just what I needed.

With 0.040 deck it calculates out 7.64 static/6.85 dynamic.

With 0.035 deck, 7.73/6.92.

I'll see how much I can tighten it up.

I appreciate it, thanks!

I wouldn't the FK 40-series are known for fast ramps and with 1.4 rockers...... I don't think the singles will give enough control

recheck your calculations it sounds like you are using the .050" numbers. your dynamic is too high.
