I will once more to upload more than one photo. It takes a while to get used to this process I think Confused

To make sure it works I am putting the two photos on first then advising the thread content:

The blackandwhite photo was given to me my the owner of my car when he owned it in 1960. He gave me lot of info and at over 60 he decided to sell it in 1965 and bought a 356c. He said he prefered the 'A' to the 'C' but thought the disc brakes on the 'C' were better. When I spoke to him in 1970 he had sold the 'C' for a new Fiat!

So in 1970 he sent me the small 2"x3" photo and about 2 years ago I enlarged it and wondered if it was taken near his house in Northampton some 100 miles from where I lived on the south coast of England.

I posted this on the UK 356 site 'DDK' and some clever guys there who were given the address of the owner did a 'street view' and eventually found the exact spot the photo was taken over 50 years ago. The trees are still there and the tall tower is also shown on another photo they posted.

I couldn't phone the then owner of my car as he would have been well over 100 years old Sad but I promised the guys on DDK that if ever I pass by the road I will take a photo in the same spot!!
