So, my 56 does not have the bullet fenders, and the turn signal/parking lights are inside the headlight bucket (for now). The car is lowered, and the front is about 2 inches lower than the rear. so, my headlights light up an area about 3 feet in front of the car. I tried to adjust the headlights, but they hit the parking/turn signal bulb when I adjust them vertically. Anyone have any suggestions on correcting this? I see a bunch of cars at shows with similar stance, and signals set up the same way. Could they all be having this same issue?

You need to use the earlier headlight assemblies wiith the 4 'o'clock/8 'o'clock adjusting screws.
The parking lights sit closer to the lens in those.

It's because the bulbs are too big. The headlight bucket was designed for the smaller bulbs. (I'm sure someone will chime in with the correct bulb size.)

So, I tried the smaller bulbs. It's a little better, but still not even close. Looks like the other headlight buckets are the way to go.
