I've been wanting to replace the 4.5 Mangels on the front of my '64 with 5.5's, so I'd been looking for a pair. I found a single wheel awhile back, and just bought another 5.5 but the backspacing doesn't match the first wheel I bought. I haven't checked the two I already had on the rear yet, but these are 3 7/8" and 4 1/16". I may cut the centers out and move them inward to even out the backspacing and deepen the lip for a wider track on the rear. Anybody else ran into this problem before? I thought they'd all be the same.

euro wheels have backspacing in mm.
(well, in fact it is the offset from the center of the wheel)

usually 5.5 have et 34 mm or 25 mm.

better find a correct pair!
