I have a 72 911t motor size 2.4 I need to get the cam nuts off does anybody
know what size they are ? I know they are big cause a 1 11/16" socket did not fit. thanks ahead of time. |

You need to set the motor to Z1 and use the proper tools to hold the cam while you loosen the cam nut (46mm). You risk bending valves if the cam or pistons move while you brake that nut loose. Those nuts are tight so be careful. I recommend you use the correct tools or take it to a shop with the proper sockets and have them loosen them for you.
