Branching out from collecting old Saabs and bought my first Beetle.
Found a 1965 that's had one owner for the past 30 years. He's taken very good care of it.
1600 dp engine
New brake shoes/cylinders
12v conversion
A few minor things to do here and there but I'm very happy with my purchase.

What do you plan on doing to it? It's an very nice clean car by the looks of it.

I try to keep my cars as close to stock as possible so nothing major.
It still has the 6 volt radio so I'll pull it and see if it still works. If it does I'll build a power supply for it and re-install, if not maybe a 12v reproduction.

Need to work out a couple bugs.
The turn signals only work when the park lights are on
Horn and brake lights are out
Will try to replace the steering wheel...has a couple cracks
And tighten up some of the play in the shift linkage.

Not a show car- just a fun car Smile
