Holds like glue with my 2017 at about 140hp? Second gear shift it hooks hard with no slip. _________________ 64 Bug, White, 2017, Dual Weber 44's, Engle 130/Engle lifters, Home P&P'd 40X35 heads, CB 4340 nitrided crank, Eagle knock off H Beam 5.5" rods, Lowering Beam, Rancho Trans, Traction Bar. 225X60's rear, 145's front on Porsche Chrome Nipple Wheels. |

You DO NOT have enough HP to need a $120 Centerforce or Copperhead disc. |
Centerforce disc is specified for 120 HP+. I've also used it with 100 HP...works well and you can keep using it later on, if you up the HP even more. _________________ Neil.

Where is the place to get the Daiken disc. You don't see it in many of the online stores unless it is named something else. I got one years ago at the local VW shop but they have since closed. _________________ '68 Bug

Never, never use a Kush with a Kennedy, unless you are practicing for how fast can you pull a engine contest |
Explain.....
I"ve been running a Stage 1 with a Kushlock for 3 years now, works great on the street, holds the power even when racing, looks great when I pulled the motor. _________________ '67 Sunroof

Without.
It's in a split so I don't do hard 1st gear launches or burnouts (unless I'm in the water, then 2nd gear is a good thing!). _________________ CH³NO²

In 2004 I installed a new Daikin disc and stage I P/P in my street legal dunebuggy with a 125 HP 2007cc. I have 375 passes down the drag strip and 15,000 street miles on it. Last week at the drags the diaphram on my Kennedy finally gave up and broke. I measured the thickness of the old Daikin disc at .330". I measured a new Daikin disc and it was .360" thick. I reused the old Daikin disc with a used stage I P/P I had and put it back in. _________________ 2017 Street Comp Champion - Thunder Valley Raceway Park - Noble, OK
