Hi! I’m looking to buy/ trade for a Karmann Ghia within the next couple years after I am through with my Squareback. I’d been looking at some Safari Porsche 911’s and thought it might be fun to do something similar to a Ghia (can’t quite afford the 911 haha). Anyways, I was wondering if anyone who has seen something or has something similar of their own would have an estimation of how difficult/ expensive a project like this would be to complete? I attached some photos of the safari 911 below

BTW, you can do much of the same stuff to your Squareback, THAT would be hot. I wanna see pics of the Squareback! _________________ Everybody born before 1975 has a story, good, bad, or indifferent, about a VW.

EXACTLY LIKE THAT! What an awesome build man. I don’t think I will be doing anything like that to the Squareback as it is relatively completed. I’ve got to get some more pics of it, my old ones were accidentally erased from my phone. But I will send some when I do. Thanks for linking me to your build! |

A Squareback is easy, they have splined torsion bars on the front & back, just a day's worth of re-indexing, you could jack that puppy up & have the same look with more room for gear. You could wrap a stock set of wheels in some big meats & not have to worry about tire rub. _________________ Everybody born before 1975 has a story, good, bad, or indifferent, about a VW.
