I JUST PURCHASED A 1974 WESTY, ENGINE HAS BEEN CHANGED TO A TYPE 3 MOTOR. ANYONE ELSE HAVE ANYTHING LIKE THIS? NO ENGINE TINS ETC. ANY INFO WOULD BE GREAT. Question Shocked

Agreed, but they also had a rubber duct connected to the fan inlet to supply cool air from the sidevents on the body, not recycling the warm cooling air like it is in there. I'm not sure you could make that work reliably in a bus, either come up with a way to seal it up so no road is visible from above or convert it to an upright fan and use the late bus 1600 tin.

They dont have a skirt with a gasket separating the hot below from the fresh above. But they still use tin Confused

Purchased bus 2 weeks ago, previous owner drove for 2 summers without problems, I drove it home where it sits -25below here. but drove & shifted smooth, anyone else have a frankenstein bus like this? westy interior & top canvas v.g. rusty along bottom rockers and lower dog legs pd. 900.00 eh!
