So its tight to the apron but fits under without cutouts? Is that a 1600cc-based motor? Nice to have exhaust options under the early aprons. How does it sound?
I had a flat four abarth style on the stroker in my old '55 and had to remove the tips and reposition them lower on the can to clear the apron and bumper. |

Yea It is tight to the apron, but no modification to the apron.I did have to heat up the upper pipe that comes off the #4 in order to lower the drivers side tips 5mm to get them off the bumper. i am running a 1641 with dual dells, the sound and performance are incridible. I am very happy with the results. Now i just need to trim the tips
They are a little long for my liking. _________________ SOUTHERN INTEGRITY AIRCOOLERS

little upgrade on the exhaust.
Vintage speed 4 tip. I am going to cut the tips off a little, but thought I would share the fit. |

You may want to make sure it doesn't cook the paint on the apron. That happened to my '55, especially after a hard highway run and then a shut down. The apron just sits there and bakes I think mine had more space then yours as well; heads up just in case. Glad to hear you are happy with the performance, those mufflers are a work of art. |

thanks for the heads up - I am concerned with the paint on the apron. I drove it around town and was smelling an awful smell - I stopped and checked and it was where i repainted the rear motor tin. I am concerned with cooking the paint on the apron. I have a long trip to Florida planned for April 4th. I guess I will find out soon enough. _________________ SOUTHERN INTEGRITY AIRCOOLERS

Headliner looks tight as a drum!... tits!
I know it'd be frowned upon... but it looks so good... it makes me want to push up on it with my finger. _________________ aka: Evan
