I searched but couldn't find an answer. I rebuilt the doors on my 64. The window felts are rear tight to the window. It is very hard to roll the windowns up and down. It is impossible to do it just by the handle. Is there something I can do to the felts? Thanks.

I use a food grade silicone spray available from Graingers. It won't leave a residue or a mess.

Use talc on the rubber scrapers if they are sticking to the glass, but use the silicon on the felts.

This is a normal problem with new felts and scrapers, but one application of silicon is usually all you need and it makes things workable again.

Ditto on the silicone, makes a world of difference. I just used regular silicone spray though, I didn't notice any kind of residue from it.
