Does anyone else play SimCity, the computer city simulating game? If so, what versions do you play?
I play 2000 when I can use my dad's old computer, and I have 4 on my own. I also use SimCity Deluxe on the iPad because I don't want to deal with booting up the game.
And how about the new SimCity coming out in 2013?
Anyone who cares to discuss this stuff with me, join in. _________________ 1973 Super Beetle

I used to play a lot of Simcity , I haven't played in several years. I started out with the original version then moved up to Simcity 2000. There's something appealing in building a city and then watching little sims inhabit the place. After a while I would cheat the game, build up loads of cash then spend it on those space towers that could hold 100,000+ sims. I heard that if you build enough of those space towers that eventually they all liftoff and leave for space. I never got see that happen. That's cool they are coming out with a new version, I'll have to check it out. _________________ Go Seahawks!!! |

Ive played them all. I loved the one on Super Nintendo, because I would use a cheat code and start with nine billion dollars. Then build low rent houses next to coal plants. And luxury housing on another island. _________________ MAKE FORUMS GREAT AGAIN

started out with 2000 back in 98 but migrated to sim city 3000 in 2002. still play it sometimes when I get bored but it can quickly turn into a time waster. |

I loved Sim City 3000! I have only crappy comps right now nothing that can run it! But someday I'd like to pick it up again! _________________ 1972 Super Beetle owned since 2005

I play the non-Sim version. It's much more challenging when you have to work with real people, real money, real materials, and real disasters in real time. _________________ Wish List:

Holy crap! $60 for the limited and $80 for the deluxe version. That's a lot of simolians. Which one did you get Beetlebaum?
I'm guessing the deluxe version you get different countries and landmarks? I'll probably get it soon but I've got so much going on with work and studying for an exam that I wouldn't have much time to spend building my ghetto. I'll be slumlord again one day soon. _________________ Go Seahawks!!! |

I know it's insanely expensive, but I've been saving up since I first heard about the new one. I got the $60 one, because I have no need for the other city styles you'd get in the $80 one. And yes, in the deluxe version, you get city sets from Britain, France, and Germany.
I've been psyched to play the game; I keep spending so much time on it. _________________ 1973 Super Beetle
